Charity Chinam Samuel“ Hails from Adamawa State of Nigeria. The 28 years old Accounting student of Modibbo Adama University then, was trained in beads, twine product and cosmetics by the Women Economic Emancipation Initiative as a student then in 2013 for a period of six months. She was able to sponsor part of her education bill with monies realized from sale of cosmetics earings, bags, etc. Today she is also a trainer in beads making.”
Sarah Sheriff“She was an undergraduate student from the Taraba State University when she enrolled for the skills aquisiton programme. She hails from Karim Lamid LGA of Taraba State. She underwent our entrepreneurship training programme during her vacations in 2015. Haven obtained skills in beads bag and purses making, she has set up her business centre on same products and more. She is an entrepreneurial trainer now.”
Mrs Ezema Ifeoma Chuks“This home maker obtained her skills development programme from the NGO in beads and bags making. She also benefited from the NDE programme as she was selected as a beneficiary of the National Directorate of Employment 2017 trainees beneficiaries. She is doing well and adding value the economic development in Nigeria through her business from skills acquired. Ezema lives in Jalingo, Taraba State with her family.”

The organization has intervened in combating poverty in the North East especially through our skills development programmes, sensitization programs on HIV/AIDs, Gender-based violence against women, Child labour and drug abuse. In addition, the organisation assisted the physically challenged women and youth to enhance their economic development capacity. Various women and youth groups were trained in skills acquisition in beads, twine, cellophane bags, waste to wealth in trye, local stoves, etc.
Giant strides through programmes with TYDanjuma Foundation: WEEI got a grant under TYDF 2013/2014 grants under Income Generation and particularly training youth in Wukari LGA in different hand crafts which benefited the youth much.
Trainings on marketing/financial skills have given the women and youths a wave of direction on marketing their products and how to access bank loans and credits with ease. We have so far trained 180 women in different skills in Taraba, 200 women in Borno, 45 IDPs in taraba, 150 Women and youth in Gombe, 50 College of Agric and Education IT students.
